The dealer is doing what dealers do...screw you over. Be persistent with them, you are understandably upset.

    Not yet,

Great advice, if the owner is not on-site ask for the general manager. Most likely if you go online they will have there name listed in the about us section or somewhere. Looks like you have pull if you go in and ask for them by name.

honesty what was wrong with the truck they tried to give you besides a nick in the tire and it being dirty? it got trailered across the country... you should have seen mine when it got here from texas. i requested they not detail it, i prefer to pop that cherry myself... just ask them to detail it and replace that tire. i think your being a bit picky... did you go into arbitration over your current rig?

I agree. I don't see anything major there. Mine was driven 240 miles (and my warranty is good for 36,240 miles) but it was detailed before I picked it up. I'm sure it looked like crap when it arrived.

^I had the same problem with my Altima which is now why I'm driving a Toyota. Go ahead and be picky but you can't honestly expect everyone to agree with you when you post a thread with a title such as this on a Toyota enthusiast forum. The fact is, your complaints about the new truck are minor and can be easily fixed by the dealer. If they fail to do that, of course I wouldn't take delivery on it.
