New member here! Excited about my 2018 Taco! I’m pulling trigger on new wheels this week. I love the Ray10 but out of stock. Next option is the F5 17x9 3.50” BS. My understanding is this is a -38 offset. I’m on stock suspension and leaning towards the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70R17. Like most I want the biggest tire/wheel combo with minimal rubbing. Will this set up work? Other solutions? Thank you in advance.

That's a pretty extreme offset, you should expect some rubbing. My -10 offset stealth 6s rub on the mudflap and there isn't a ton of clearance when turning with 265/70/16s

I was afraid of that. I’m going to pull the mud flaps off. It’s been very difficult to find a wheel with a -12 or -10 offset that doesn’t look played out.

Well, you may need to do more to fit -38s. There is a user on here that has the F5 on 265/70/17 tires with no lift that I believe had to cut the cab mount to keep from rubbing. I would avoid anything over -10 offset on a stock suspension unless you want to do trimming.

You’re going to rub like your getting a deep tissue massage with that offset and no lift.

I’m going to head a different direction. Now to find a less offset wheel. Thank you!
