You are not that far away. Just take it to JDFab then you know it will be done right.

@snowsk8air2 has done a couple of them I believe. He's up in flag tho. Otherwise somewhere like 454 Motorsports that's familiar with JD's stuff too.

I’ve done a few of them, but yeah up in flag. 454 would be a good option down in the valley

Install that kit. Have to cut the old mounts off and then that kit locates off some factory bolts and gets welded in

Actually sort of not busy at the moment lol. Well, prerunning koh the weekend before thanksgiving, then gone the week of thanksgiving in the desert. Then all hands on deck for 8 weeks to prep the car and my truck.

But I can squeeze it in. If I recall it took around 12-15hrs to do. So it’s a full weekend job but can be done.

Figured I’d share the updates in here. Bryan had the truck shipped up here last night. Arrived around 9pm last night.

    98E1C5F6-56AD-4A4E-8805-22C29B84C666.jpg

Got started this morning around 8:30 with the tear down.

    CA7D9FD7-6DE2-4E63-891D-69D5D7F32ECE.jpg

Then the always worst part ever. Cutting off the old mounts and cleaning things up. Actually got this done in record time today.

    D8D470F0-559A-4734-A78F-8D296606A46E.jpg

Jd fab kit massaged to meet the frame.

    337D2CA7-5D35-4FEC-8948-26ADF65FBC58.jpg

And all welded up and done for the day after 8hrs straight.

Tomorrow we have to weld the mount for the front skid on, massage the lower skid mounts so it bolts up nicely, paint and start some maintenance during reassembly.

Well then original time estimate of 12-15hrs was pretty good. Probably could have been done and on the ground today if it weren’t for a few things. Like adding doing cv boots, and finding a bent spindle keeping me from assembling the driver side. Probably would have been spot on at 14hrs. But clocked out at 15hrs today. Waiting on a spindle to assemble the driver side. Skid is ready to bolt up was just letting paint dry. And then need to make a quick bracket to weld to the cross member so the trans skid has something to bolt to since the jd skid doesn’t adapt to it.

Would have been nice to set it on the ground today but not the right call with how bad the spindle is. Still with frame being a little tweaked adding time, cv’s, spindle, and trans skid adapter gone be right around 20hrs or less.
