    Two things:

    1) I think 285's would look fine. I have seen a couple of guys around my neck of the woods with that setup, and I don't find it funny looking at all.

    2) If it is just a price thing, then I would go with what you want, and shop at discount tire. They price match. I paid $260 a rubber for my 295/70/18 Trail Grapplers... two weeks ago. (I bet you Terra Grapplers can get even cheaper than that). That was the lowest price I found anywhere.... He price matched an ad I found online.

I'm glad I went with the size I went with, and that may work for you. It's just a smidgen smaller than the 35 (they measure 34.5 per their website, maybe I will do a real measurement today). But they are a full 1 inch narrower than the "35x18x12.50" which my ball joints will love me for (well, that's more of a rim size thing, but you get the point).

I will gladly post up more pics if you would like.

Jay - I am running 285/70R18s...let me know if you want some closeups. Work fine for me. I am not running spaces, tires are in-line with my fenders. P.S. I got my tires for $1400...if that helps for comparison.

Find the cheapest place online that sells the tires you want, print the page out with the final price and take it to them. They will most likely price match.

I was floored. Many other shops I was talking to said I paid less for the rubber than their cost. I'm very pleased. BTW, Tires for me are a make-it or break-it deal. I see some cheezy road tires and it takes away from the truck. I like to see nice meaty lugs.

The narrowness of the 285 with it only being a 33 might make it look to small in my opinion...its completely up to you tho. maybe a 285/75/17...they are 34s. my buddy has them on his z71

No problem man. you could also check out the 295/70/17s or the 305/70/17s, all of those would look pretty sick

It will look good, I was worried mine would not have looked good with 33's, but I'm very satisfied with how it turned out.
