i know that feeling.Here is my pitty story . When i was just about to put my lift on my truck my new rims/tires that were 2200 bucks got stolen . So i had to get new set man that suxed :/

 

i would have been PISSED!!!!! they stole them right off your truck?

i got the full refund on the 17s and the tires plus i get to get the tire that i actually wanted in the first place with the cost of a little more money lol. i think the separation anxiety is killing me more than anything right now.

 

no the g/f being from idaho and living LA little different with your stuff. She got the tires and rims mounted. she had them in the back of my truck taking back to her place. well she stop off at micheals fabaric shop. being that she lives in azusa were bastards steal your stuff. They stole my tires

 

that is messed up... i hope those guys got their hands chopped.

eh how did you fit the 17s on your truck? lol wtf!!! how come mine wouldnt fit?

 

How did you did you find that they won't fit?

 

apparently the 2012 that was getting lifted at 4WPs was also getting the same lift and 17s. 4WPs called me and told me that the 17s didnt fit on that truck so it didnt look like they were going to fit on mine....thanks to that 2012 for being the guinea pig lol.

 

Yeah at least you found out ahead of time but that's the kind of stuff 4wp should know before hand

 

17 with a low BS fit on the Fabtech, not sure about the PC

I run 17x9 with a 4.5" BS on my truck and they fit just fine

I have a question.... and didn't really want to start a new thread for it, although I should...

But has anybody had any issues taking their (6"+ lifted)truck to the automatic (conveyor belt) car wash?

I need to get my rig washed after this snow storm that just passed, and the octopus I been going to for years always had a big sign posted "No lifted trucks or large tires..."

I'm sure I can go try and hear what they say, but wanted to hear if others experienced this.

Weird issue to ask about lol, but ya. that.

 

i used to take my 93 toyota pickup that was lifted 10+ inches through the car wash...a lot of them have the bar that has the maximum height that the vehicle can be upon entering the car wash....i say if your truck clears that...CHARGE!!!

i would just wash the truck by hand...its probably easier on the paint and washing by hand always looks cleaner...well at least for me it does.
