I recommend just getting new lines. The kits have you bend the hard lines to move them down to reach the calipers once lifted.

I didnt use any of the crap brackets that are used when I put my kit on

Much cleaner and with the Alcans and 5125s, I have way to much drop for the stock lines, even with all the relocating brackets they want you to use

You will run into a slew of problems if you try to do that IMO.

There are backspacing issues, knuckle clearing issues etc... throwing a spacer in the mix takes all bets off the table.

If you get a fabtech kit, you can run 17's however.

    I say "just do it"

So I've been wondering, what 6" lift gives the most ground clearance, procomp, fabtech, whatever else there is? looking cuz I'm seriously considering one when my 2011 comes in

Both the same except the Fabtech has an arched crossmember so it can be argued to have more. Initial settings of my Fabtech coil overs gave me a 1/2" or so additional lift from that of another members ProComp. That is until he got 35's.
Tire size is important to clearance as well as im sure you know.

I think the procomp and fabtech leave you with the same amount of clearance, and if there is a difference, I'm sure that it is soooo minor that's its not an issue. I don't offroad much, but if I did and was worried about clearance, I would have gotten icon 2.5's, they are arguably the best 3" spring/suspension lift on the market.... or fox's, but for hardcore offroading, I would have chosen a 3 over a 6.

Now why the fuck did you go and do that? I'm trying to hate the 2012's because I only got 10 payments left on mine and don't want to find myself at the fuckin stealership. I'm gonna drive north, admire that ugly truck and slap the shit out of you!!!!:D

Bahaha!!!! I had a hard time getting used to the 2012 front end...the lift has definitely made it easier. I slap myself every time I jump in my truck to make sure that I am not dreaming because this truck sure beats driving my old corolla.
