    I'm ridiculous anal about my truck. My buddy Shane said he'll chop and he knows how fucking crazy I am about my stuff especially my rig. With the BAMF plates it made it even easier. After all was said and done, it looks factory!!!!!

    He cut it perfect after tracing the plates, welded the plate in the space, grinded it all smooth then we painted. SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!

    Under 2 hours to do it without the bullshittin, dirty jokes and whatnot!!!:D

    After painting the area we worked on , as soon as nice weather comes around , i'm going to do the same thing.

    i pretty sure the knuckles are different cuz some trucks (older models) do not have VSC, new ones -the knuckles are different to equip VSC. i think thats how. but regardless, just get some wheel spacers n 17 should clear.

    Yea the VSC was put on the 07s and up...I really think its a hit or miss thing. I am running 18s and it barely clears the knuckle right now...

    You guys did a great job...looks clean. Some guys chops look all sloppy, but seeing yours makes me want to put 35s and chop now!!!!

    i got 18's also, but no VSC. i think my wheels/tires is closer to UCA than the knuckle itself

    fuu of course ran into a problem. Lift is on. Went to put gears in and bearings are not fitting. Gonna have to order new ones in morning. Lookin at thursday before completion. Gonna try to go look at it tomorrow and take some pics.

    Wat up dude?Hope things are cool with you.My taco is an '08 and it doesn't have VSC.So I guess I'll find out when it's done which will be either TUES or WED.Drop it off at 9:am today.I thought it would take 2 days at the most but I don't want to rush them,don't want no MICKEY MOUSE job.

    you sound like i was........ after it was all said & done it was about 5 days they forgot to send a shock ,abushing & i had to print the directions out thanks fab-tech for damn near giving me a complex till it was done but im a happy hunter now congrats on your trk :cool:
