here we go. Ford 9" rear after breaking 5 sets of gears in the stock yota 8.8, 5.13 gears with a detroit hard locker, 63" chevy leafs and custom hangers, sky's front spring hanger with sky's extream hysteer and PSC hydro assist ram and PSC pump. welded front spyders in the f-550 front dana 60 with warn hubs, pico brake lines and hoses, elecrtic fan, TRD supercharger with URD 2.1 Pully, URD Map-ECU2 and cage built by me. wide band a/f by inovations, lots and lots more...........
the cast spindle that comes in the fabtech 6" lift is made of cast and they didnt reinforce the threds into the bottom of it where the lower ball jount bolts up (4 bolts) after time and a few hard hits or big bumps the bolts rip the treads out of the cast and the trucks seem to roll over while driving on the road seen 4 or 5 since i had to fix some of them.

does anyone have a side by side comparison of the PC versus FT spindles?

I know the Fabtech ones looked heavier duty, but I am just curious

    Thanks

Bro, what front coil set-up are you running w/the AllPro bumper? Also any idea the weight of it? Just curious cause I'm using OME 885 w/a 5" spacer from Roughcountry w/ my ARB bumper. I really hate the spacer combo though. Wish OME made a 6" suspension coil/shock.

lol i think im leaning towards 33' krooks. i just looked at tacoridinhigh build thread and he had to do some major hackin up of the fenders to get them to not rub. plus i think 33s will be better for the truck for longevity of tranny and axles and whatever else. i had a 1st gen taco with 8" of lift and 33's looked mint.

As soon as I put 33's on my truck, I gained a lot of power back.
35's look better but w/out extensive cutting and changing gears, I personally don't think its worth it. As well as what you mentioned about longevity. Especially the electronically controlled 4x4 system. Whatever engineers decided on that should be fired. Old school manual system is better. They put it in the FJ and left it out of Tacos. Plain stupid

wouldnt wheel width and offset/backspacing along with the tire width also play a roll.

I know on my 99 truck I rubbed the shit out of a set of 35 swamper Trxus MTs and then I swapped to 35 BFGs and they cleared just fine.

    that was 9" of lift
