i don't have anything against the 3 inch lifts...i think that the 6" lifts are just as good, but look 10x nicer lol!!!

I was gonna 3" lift mine, but the thing that made me change my mind was
    1. I love the look
    2. Getting the drop bracket 6", everything is still in factory specs, which means i dont need to trouble shoot any vibrations, or have to worry about my cv boots
    3. The shop installed it for me for free because i bought the lift from them. With my billy 5100 and 885x lift i was wanting to install, it would have costed more to install it, than the actual components of the lift.
    4. I love the look...... seriously, look at a 6" lift, its just tuff....

Im still trying to convince my wife to buy a tacoma, since she drives mine more than i do. If i can get her to buy one, maybe i will try an actual 3" kit on hers, like the OME with dakars or something, we'll see, since her complaining that she cant get into my truck very well is an issue...

Take the scoop insert out, and paint it, or wrap it, whichever... its only held in by 3 rivets (i think) and some screws. I helped my buddy take the plastic backing out of his scoop so its an actual scoop into the engine compartment, wasnt difficult at all.

Dudes in Hawaii love them body lifts....:D

I personally hate body lifts. I hate seeing any part of the frame .......PERIOD!! When done right on a few trucks, with gap guards to fill in the dead space in rear fender wells and under tailgate it's OK....but still.

I'd rather save $$$$$ and go SAS , springs and adj. shocks, etc. or something or just stick with the 6".
