    DO NOT FINANCE A LIFT. Just my $.02
    Don't need to be paying an extra $300-600 just for a lift. It may take a little longer to save but worth it wen u pay all one shot. One n done

    What NOFORDS said. Not a problem. I start out in 2nd gear alot too.....hmmm.....maybe the dude who had my truck before me put new gears in it??? :confused::confused: I doubt it. He was a hunter and went off the beaten path a bit.

    Well I have 315/70/17 when I off road I am mostly in 1st because 2nd has no juice. I am guessing when I get regeared I will be able to get into 3rd and4th.

    same shit for me too. i don't know how the hell i would move 35s when wheeling without gears....or even spin the tires fast enough to clean em in mud.

    :confused: what are you guys talking about cant turn 35's mine never ran like shit w/or wo any combo you want to throw at it!!! still one of the baddest running trucks ive ever owned my last 2(03 dakota quad cab w/ a360 in it on 33's,06 rubicon 6sp w/a 4.0 on 35's ) & my tacoma kicks both of their asses all day long :p

    i'm not saying it runs like shit, but gears would definitely help while offroading and take a lot of stress of the tranny as well.

    You can leave the billies at 0, but the 885s add 2.5" of lift.
