yea you will have trouble passing a safety check inspection in hawaii with tires sticking too far out of the fender. i think it makes the truck look so much nicer!!!

So now im sitting on a pile of parts and getting everyone together next saturday to put them all on. any suggestions/tips from any one that did there own lift?

im thinking of spraying everything down a couple days in advance with some breakfree/liquid wrench.

any odd size sockets or tools ill need? doing the fabtech with coilovers and alcans so no blocks if that helps.

    here is the list
    Need

    14mm
    17mm
    19mm
    20mm(maybe)
21mm (maybe if you have aftermarket wheels you need this size for the gorilla key.)
    22mm(maybe)
    24mm (maybe)
IF you have a torch that would make easier than a sawzall.
    sawzall
    Grinder
    blocks of wood
    bugge Cords
    jack/jack stands
Ball Joint Separator for the uca ball joint and Rack and pinion ball joint.
    Impact wrench
    Torq Wrench

You might have to take off the Brake dust cover because mine was making a grinding noise. But you could try to re bend it. Make sure you got to Alignment Shop right way.
Would not be a bad idea to spray it with Liquid Wrench.
My lift with the pro comp coils took day and half. At the time i did my pro comp i had buddy help me because i had no idea what i was doing.
THe direction for pro comp were pretty good i am guessing their the same for fabtech.

    You adding UCA's or No???

no UCA's at this point not sure if they are needed, i dont plan on offroading much this is my daily driver work truck, it was time for tires so i figured f it im lifting it. Using a friends shop with a lift so i wont be on the ground working on it and having a few friends help im hoping to knock it out in one day.

everything on the list makes sense but the bungee cords.

Bungee cords would be for the brake Calipers so their not hanging on the Brake lines.

Well putting on a lift you should knock it out in day. The Back part should be alot easier than the front. Because you have to cut the cross member.

yes i would do it i was rubbing pretty bad on the driver side cab mount. You also might have to hammer down the vertical pinch weld. I was hitting that bad. If you can find a local welder they charge like 100 bucks.

I am running 315/70/17 on 17x8 inch rims

That's weird I have 35x13.3's and can't hit the body mount if I try?
