I have an 07 access cab, pro comp 6" lift with 33x12.5x17 tires. the top of my truck sits about the same height as a stop f150 4x4.

The lowest parking garage I've gone into was 6'6". took my antenna off so it would stop rubbing.

Not worried about gas mileage but going from 30's to 35's does the Tacoma struggle to pull them, any re-gearing needed?

I have 35s with a auto and if I had the $$$ I would regear in a heartbeat. But I feel like it does good with stock gears. So I would do it if you have the money

Well I will give them a go for the 35" if you get bigger tires you get more ground clearance but more suspension with ground clearance would be great..

There is a balance between the two, I learned that with my Jeep, 35" tires with 6 inch lift was great on my Wrangler with Dana 60 axles (rear) and Dana 44 and air lockers not much ever stopped me :)
