    Just been through roughly 150 pages and have a few questions. Thinking of picking up a 13 dclb and my local offroad shop has a bds 6" in stock, I'm pretty sure its the one with coil spacers.

    I can upgrade to the fox coil overs or fabtech ones down the rode right?

    I don't see UCA's in the kit pics but seems like everyone here is running TC ones. Is it a must or just makes suspension geometry better?

    I'm also torn between this kit and the RCD one for running 33's.


    Or can a 3" lift accomplish running 285's (almost 33's) and be cheaper, ride better etc.....

    Any input if you could do it again?

    Thanks, been also banging my head around a 3" lift and running 285's, I have no need to go 35's anytime soon. if the basic 6" kit is spacer and blocks, Would the ride quality be about the same as this kit?

    From what people say, kits like the one in your link ride horrible and break your shocks if you actually offroad......my basic 6" kit rides pretty good on the road.....offroad the flex is a little stiff.

    If all you want to run is a 285 for tires, I'd fork out the money for a good 3" kit........which will equal to about the same amount as a basic 6" kit $$ wise.

    Yes that is what I'm looking for, I think the OME and 285's on my stock 17's with spidertrax is the way I'm going. Now to just decide on a DCLB or Access cab......sheeesh what a tuff life out here :cool:

    And I admit that mine rides a little more harsh after the lift was put on......but, compared to the older lifted trucks I've had, the 6" Taco rides like a Rolls Royce.
