Ok, so my 33s are balding. Need new tires soon. Was wondering if I should get another set of 33 or jump to 35s. My only problem is my mpg sucked when I have the 3 inch lift and 33s. Now its 6 inch lift and 33, and I get about the same mpg. How much worse is it gojng to get with 35 and what if I regear it. Would that help with mpg?

Yes. Gearing is big with MPGs. I say go to 35s and 4.88s or 4.56s

So its not the tire size but more of the tires weight, correct? Comparing 33s that is.
I my first set of 33s were 6 plys? And I lost about 2 mpg. But when I went to 10 ply it was a dramatic decrease, I wiukd say it jumped down 6 mpg.

35s will be heavy no matter the ply really. I said 35s just cause I think they look better on a 6 inch lift haha Regearing will help on the MPGs

Mine wouldn't. .but...my driveway is gravel and the garage sits up a little higher than the driveway..so theres a small concrete ramp..about 18 inches.. that brings them together..this allows the trucks highest point to be at a slight angle where the garage doors lowest point is...allowing me to still fit...once im in I have probably 2 feet of clearance

Yup...that's where my issue is....there is a ledge to drive up on as I go under the door.....this raises the truck enough to hit the door.

The wife wouldn't allow it in the garage anyway. It's covered with mud 70% of the time.

Just call up Deaver springs and tell them what your set up is and how much weight you have on the rear (plate bumper, trailer towing, etc). They can make a spring set that will take these specs into account. Good luck.

Yea they are not cheap but we don't get 6in of good quality lift for cheap. You will thank yourself in the future if you end up getting them

We are both thinking the same thing. I just need like 2 grand to pay for it all. Lol I'm accepting donations

    No

Headlights have me pissed to no end!!! Not sure what to do. i want retros but I don't have a shit ton of money for those bastards. Guess I just need to bake my all clear ones and scrape the shit out of the glue and re-glue them and see if that works.

I want new shocks for the front and leafs in the rear that will put me up another inch to inch n half.

    Then stereo shit.
