How about some pics of you guys with your lift on 33s, And I'm still debating getting 17s. How's everyone else's spacers treating them? Pros/cons?

All I can say about spacers is do not go cheap with them. My good friend runs them on his pre runner that he beats the shit out of but he is also a master mechanic and had his truck apart often.

I'd say more than half the LT guys run spacers, they also have longer splines which is always an advantage. I've had mine on for 3 years now with no problems

I have some brand new unused extended lines for a 6"+ lifted taco or long travel taco for sale :

1 pair front OE style ends 16" long regular stainless from group buy

1 pair rear OE style ends 26" long regular stainless from group buy

1 pair 36" OE style ends 36" long DOT stainless/Kevlar Crown performance ( this is the stuff race trucks use they are larger and have zero flex under pressure ) My current rear lines are 11ft long and my pedal is stiffer than it was stock.

The front and rear set of regular ones are from the group buy guy here on TW and I will sell them to you for $50 + shipping

The rear Kevlar ones for $50 + shipping

A good trick to see what length is right for you is to use string cut to those lengths. Don't forget to measure the front at full droop with the wheel turned to lock and in the rear try to fully flex/droop too.

With my 5" lift and MT the +3" over stock were more then I needed. I ended up eliminating the 90 degree bend that attaches to the frame and using the line holder from my spindle as the new bracket. Those lines cost me about 80$ and 2 hours worth of labor with bleeding down the whole system. I still have stock length steel rears that I got from another member for free. Even with my leaf pack at full droop, its more than enough.
The cheapest route to go here is find a local shop that makes them. If you can take the lines off yourself and get them measurements, they will re use your fittings. You will need to obviously have them off the truck for awhile though. With a little planning, it can be done in a few hours.

If you want a pre made kit to eliminate every OE bracket, hose and line in the front contact Crown Performance, ask for John out in the shop and tell him you are looking to do the same thing as Jason with the silver Tacoma. He wrote down all of the spec's and brackets to do what is shown in the photo :

Yea, my profile and mwoap. I also have a lot of pics in dif threads for wheeling trips in AZ. I've really only seen the two of us play in the rocks but we both aren't just PC lifts anymore. I only have the physical DB itself left. I will tell you when I took my stage 2 out for the first time I hated it, but it did OK. Just really stiff ride, not fun on hills or washes and especially out here in the desert.

Here is by far the hardest I have wheeled my truck. This is a 3.5-4.5 rated rock trail in Florence, AZ called Elvis. Everything on this trail is a solid axle crawler. It took us hours to navigate maybe a mile. I left with a bent DB and chunks out of my wheels from rocks. You will even see the look on my face on some of these obstacles, I was sweating bullets.

Just got a quote for $3500 installed for the BDS kit with the Fox coilovers. Sounds pretty decent to me seeing as how the kit itself from BDS is right around $3500.

My question is this, for a truck that is going to be on rode 99% of the time, is the BDS kit with the Fox coils total overkill? I'm thinking it might be, but at the same time I really want it to ride nice on the road since that's where it will spend most of it's life.

I'm also slightly hesitant to drop $3500 on a 6" lift that uses nothing but blocks to lift the rear.

Maybe I'd be better off getting the basic 6" kit from BDS and getting new leafs for the rear?

    Thoughts?
