No, you DB. :anonymous: she goes under the knife this weekend. Almost all prep is done. One more fender to cut. Need to cut my steering stops and then she's ready.

I noticed you didn't take any meat off the back of the flare/ fender ?
If you fully stuff the rear tire doesn't it still rub the back of the fender well or your high clearance bumper sides at the back of the well ? I had to order my high clearance cut back 2" because if you run a straight edge up from the back of my 35 ( same tires as you ) my tire crushes the rear of the fender flare before it has hit the bump. Do you bump before your 35 hits your bumper ? Hope that makes sense

I took about 3/4" off the back to match up with the bumper.
a local guy with the same HC bumper and 35s, shackle flip etc doesn't rub his HC/flare. I am hoping mine is the same. If not I'll have to cut the bed side protection tube off and the bumper ends. Still wanting to do a pelfrey rear so I'll order it 2" shorter. Fully stuffed at 6" I only rubbed the front of the flare. Hard enough to kink the bedside a little! !

Weird...I have alway hit the rear of the OE flare first, same here crushed it hard enough to tweak the bedside a bit too. I noticed even on my neighbors completely stock Taco the rear wheel is not centered in the wheel well. When I was mocking up a home made fiberglass fender flare idea I realized that for total clearance I need the flare to stick out just an inch more ( width ) and with a narrow lip the tire will tuck under it. At the front of the well no trimming but the rear a full 2". I mocked it all up and sent a photo to CBI to confirm my idea and they are building the bumper cut back 2". As soon as I get the bumper I can get the flare idea I to full gear. I am shaping them similar to the way the flare edge looks on the Fiberworks glass fenders.

Well get your non DB ass out of here!! You've been banned!!
You don't cut them all the way off, leave some bit there. I spoke with TC on this one to be sure.

They include a picture with the kit, I'll post it up in here... do you have the stock length race lowers? Not much info anywhere on the web about the race series. I called TC to talk about wheel BS requirements for these LCA today-great knowledgeable guys! I've always heard good things, so far its true!

I have the stock length race series lowers and I had to cut and shave down that stop. I did mine as far as I felt good about doing it. They still touch, but you can see that TC engineered them with an extra plate there. I did notice a little less turning radius cause of the width of these LCAs.
As for BS, yes. I can't run the second shock mount until I get a wheel with 4.5 or less BS. For now, this is OK with me though. I would like to change wheels some day. Maybe if I find some used walker evans..

Oh and yes, calling over there is always a good idea. They definitely answer the customers and are there to help!!
I just switched to the non areosol version of Trip flow as well. I'm hoping it won't dry up as fast out here in this heat.....As always Jason at SDHQ comes through and sets me up with something better.
