Finishing planning out my 6".. what left that's needed.
Already have 4" maxtrac spindles in the front, going to use billys for the additional 2" in the front.

Can anyone tell me if what I have planned is what I need, or do I not need some of this?
Also, I have a 1.5" AAL in the rear now; would it be better to just replace it with a 4" block or to do 1.5" AAL + 2" block?

Definitely the most small block possible. I would recommend doing an offest/tapered block from beefed taco. I have 5" of true lift in the rear and I don't need drive shaft spacer. Mine sits exactly where it did originally. Now if you can afford a full leaf pack that of course would be the way to go..but, to answer your question yes, a add a leaf and small block would be better than stuffing a larger block in there

Okay cool, so not everyone will need a driveshaft spacer? Awesome.
And smaller the block the better, sounds good.
Full leaf pack is out of the question for now, but maybe an option down the road.

The driveshaft spacer is only needed on the prerunners... i had one and it worked fine...when i ditched the block and aal setup for the 6" alcans I had to remove the spacer because the alcans move the axle back forward...so I have a spacer for sale if u need one

    I'll have a 1.5" AAL and a 2" block. so 3.5" ...

would that be level with the front if I have 4" spindles and set billys at 2"?

Well... I'm right around 7.5" of lift in the front...i HAD 4 leaf tsb springs, 1.5" aal and 3" block and i sat low in the rear...when i went to the 6" rear lift springs it put me level...i would say with 6 in the front 3.5 to 4 in the rear should be close

So when talking about the driveshaft spacer, say if someone has 4" of rear lift and I have 4" of rear lift; will the spacer needed be the same for both of us or would there be other factors that would differentiate between the two?

I got a free car wash compliments of the flooding and 5" of rain we had here last week. When you are at highway speeds its as good as a pressure wash. We are getting more rain today as well so I owe a big thank you to the hurricane season.
