Rebuilt the smooth bodies this weekend with my best friend and mechanic. Quite the learning process when it comes to how valving works but overall it went easy.

We also came up with a skid idea I'm going to take to Avid off road this week. I have noticed that I have been dragging the compression struts on mall curbs so its time to eliminate those to gain some clearance.

Same here Scott....nothing. I've had the Super Swamper SX's in 35x15.5x15 on a Jeep before. They were Bias-ply, rode like crap & only lasted about 20K miles. But man they could really perform on the trails!

I like it I've needed it a few times I guess. I'm not a huge fan of mud or water anymore so I would not do it again, along with a bunch of other shit I have done

I would really like to see pictures of your cross members for comparison. Only a little bit of mine was removed.

The chunk of metal sounds good to me. I'm just really curious. Mines an 08, that was supposedly built at the stealership before it was put on the lot for sale.
