Bed cage, SUA or links, triple bypasses, shock tower brace and shock hoops. Bypasses up front as well.

I said to do it right. Sure he can throw on an engage kit but it seems that most of these LT guys end up with a whole lot more

If he is just looking for a mall cruiser and doesn't go hard in the dirt then just forget everything vive said about LT or even a MT setup like mine.

I understand the direction you are going in but you don't need all of that, again it depends on how you are going to drive. You don't need triple bypasses to have a fun truck for the average joe. The average joe is not going to be blowing through whoops at 60 mph. You know my set up and I mob dirt roads at 60. Yes - Coil bucket cross brace is not a bad idea on even a mid travel truck, stick a gopro in your wheel well and just go mall crawl some speed bumps and you'll shit yourself when you see it but it is not the coil buckets themselves it is the entire freaking frame doing this \/ and this /\. One important thing to understand though is that when you make things rigid a whole new set of problems pop up, flex is not a bad thing until you are really going hard in the Des. Go price out LT front and rear on your beloved TC site it's not that bad if that is your first build - first spend " do it right the first time "

It's only $600 more for axles to go LT front end vs my full MT set up or yours...and you can do a lot more than cruise the mall without bypasses and a bed cage

    I know what the +2 & 3.5 from TC costs. :)
Damn good kit when you combine it with a DMZ rear and Kings all the way around.

It is a bed cage to reinforce the new shock hoops we are building to support rear coil overs that will connect to my new 3 link rear set up. If you zoom in you will see square plates with 4 -1/2" bolts where each of the front 4 tubes terminate. Those bolts go through to identical plates under the wheel well which will be the tie in points for the new CO towers/hoops. The two rear tubes go through the bed floor because there is no flat surface large enough to use the same plates. The rear tubes will connect to the frame as well with tube connects so that the whole bed cage is 100% removable in about 5 minutes. My carpet kit still fits in too and we figured out a way to seal those rear holes with a rubber gasket so that it will not be an open hole around the tubing.

All of the corners will be gusseted and it is about as minimally invasive as it could be which was our goal. You can even still use the OE bed cleats in all of the bed rails and you can still use the OE bed pockets as well.

Here is another pic that shows the tie in plates a little better and how we bent the tubing to match the angles of the wheel well :

...and here is Jack making sure that nobody steals my carpet kit :

Grassy ass amigo, the major part of the build will not be until the last week of July through the first week of August. We are trying to pre fab as many bits as possible and get them out to the powder coater to save a bit of time. Technically the 12" CO's tucked under the bed w/ links will work on even a 3-4" lifted truck so I'll take a lot of build pics and share them.

Guys what's the tallest and widest tire you can fit with either a 4" lift from BDS or a 4 1/2" lift from RCD? And what width and bs on the rims? I have looked and can't really find any definite answer, Google hasn't been to good of a friend for me.

I'd say go with a 35. Sure you're going to need a Cab mount chop and some trimming but it will look good. :)

Look at the manufacturer specs on the lift. It will tell you what you need

All the manufacture are saying 33", of course they aren't gonna say anything bigger than what they know will fit due to liability. I just think you can go bigger than a 33.

Good call Jon on the 35's..

Yes some trimming will be needed but once it's done you will be much happier with a bigger tire stuffed under there. (DB lifts need help imo)
CMC/pinch weld mod. Plastic trimming

Of course you can. It's just about what your are willing to do to get it. Look at Matt, mofos got 37s cause he did the work. I'm doing practically 34s on 3" of lift and I know plenty of guys that have done 315 or 35 on the same lift.
Just give up any expectation of great gas mileage.
