Yes sir! Hence all the research and questions. I only know that LT is out of the picture for me. I would never be able to use it to its full potential.

MT setup is really amazing and there are the more expensive approaches. Ive been fortune to capitalize on good deals in the community and I do all my labor with the help of the community and relationships ive made from it.

Even an OME or Toytec lift is a super sweet setup and very capable. Them Aussies run the shit out of their trucks in nasty terrain.

I ran across the ARB BP-51 coilovers in an ad from 4wheelparts. But have not read anything about them, as opposed to the Icon/King/Fox set ups that I have read so much about.

6" BDS DB, 37", Dirt King, Total chaos UCA's w/ Heims, Fox c/o's, 4-banger fenders, 37" Nittos, 4.88 w/ rear ARB, AP Expos, 17x9 Method beadlocks, cab mount relocation, "Insain fab" tub, 5% tint, 10" Rockford Fosgates, Magnaflow 18" custom catback exhaust, AFE intake, Trail Gear bumper, Crown brake lines F/R

Once I get the spacers removed from the Fox coilovers it will be "MTDB" but I don't care to really classify it just enjoy it for what it is.. A lotta lift!
I had a 3" /35 and just wasn't cutting it for me. Like I said you just know if you really want to commit to a DB lift or not!

I had 12.5" wide 37's and same steps as the whole "3"/35 no body lift thread"
For the mud grapps definitely covered my bases with a relocated cab mount/firewall delete.

    My build :bananadead:

It's pretty simple, if you plan on offroading then mid travel is what would suit you better. But if you just want your truck jacked up for looks like I did then go db. Everyone uses their truck differently. I recently installed a zone offroad 6 inch lift on my Tacoma and I love it. Quality parts at a good price. c7a50e267d563b2f5bf3f970b1cb1f3e_a1f0598752ca58452d807d32ea1aaa84f074a25a.jpg832381371012c62d2bc14b9bde0bba5f_f90339beff4db2dda55de2b0ecfd794babaeb914.jpg

I like my DB lift also, but coming from a MT setup I definitely see its limits especially having a long bed now too. The PC coil overs ride like crap off road and no droop at all. But for looks it's bad ass,but there is that old saying that you always want what you don't have.

DB kit does not have to mean stiff though? Like run the Foxes/Icons/Kings made for the DB lifts? WOuld definitely plan on going with rear springs. 4"blocks are no bueno for me.

Never had any issues with the DB lift I ran. The ride was very nice running the bilstein shocks at all 4 corners and expos in the rear. If I had to do allover again I would have still gone the same route. Best thing is to get the basic kit and build it to your needs.

Mine rides great in the road, just too stiff in the front off road. Of course the 20's and E rated tires don't help. Definitely need to put together the right combo for your needs.

DB lift, resis with CD adjusters front and rear, Alcans to ditch the block, shackle flip, rear shock relocate, and :sawzall:. This is getting expensive and involved.
