:boink:Umm yeah...:evil:so your tie rod ends connect to your spindles and your spindles are a fixed object. Where your tie rod end connects to the spindle is a not something you can change or trim to create clearance for a rim either...and trimming your outer tie rod end is suicide...therefore me thinks you done confused having to trim your inner tie rod length a bit to get your toe adjustment pulled in where you wanted it. What these boys are discussing is the back side of the rim clearing the tie rod end.

Yea, I honestly didnt know which end was trimmed I just know it had to happen when I warrantied my rack. That is something I had the dealer do. The alignment shop ended up trimming the inner after I swapped the uppers and lowers.
I do know that shit was close to my tie rods and I couldn't run clip weights on the inner wheel.

Oh well, that trucks been gone a year and I dont miss it.

I bought it directly from the dealer, 3 years old with 15k on it. From what I was told it was one of the 1st ones "modded" by the dealership. Whoever bought it first, never drove it. All I saw was low miles and a buch of mods that i didnt need to buy. I was pretty nieve then.

if anyone knows wheels. 17x8.5 - 0 offset - 108 centrebore - I need 17x8.5 or 9 and 3.5 back spacing. Been trying to figure out what I need to do to run a 17" run on this dang BDS kit. Calling all gurus. Or I want to know what I could do to run a 17"? Perhaps :sawzall: ?

8.5 wheel with 0 offset is a 4.75 bs. If you are looking for 3.5 bs the offset would need to be -32 and on a 9" wheel it would have to be -38.

Right but I wanted to try 175 based on some other research I've done and a few folks I've talked to. I can easily go down. Thinking I may want a nitrogen bottle and fill adapter :D
