A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
There are many options for lift, travel and flex and everyone will have their own opinion about what is best, but in reality it is what is best "for them". I thank everyone who understands that and for the rest of y'all, proof that you can wheel anything including a DB!!!

Just ordered a DB from a member here that was selling just the parts I needed at a price I could afford. I'll be putting coil overs on with it. Soon to be the only DB, locked midtraveled, crawl boxed Tacoma on 37...that I know of. Once that's done I'll build a new rear diff that can actually hold up to this without exploding and call it mission complete.

This gentleman hooked me up with the components I needed. I got lucky, I did't want to buy a kit and throw half of it away.

I have 14" kings ready to go on the rear. I already did a skhackle flip and we'll be fabbing up a 63" chevy swap for the rear in the next few weeks. Front will be he ProComp bracket with coilovers and uniball uppers which I already have. MIGHT be adding uniball lowers too, if I do they'll be fabricated by a member here (not sure if he wants to be named before they're built and tested).

And an Inchworm crawl 4.7 crawlbox, FJ case with twin sticks combo. I have both boxes. the shifters are on the way. On piece drive shaft for the rear is on the way too, although it will need to be modified. I'm waiting to hear back from the transmission shop. My trans is grinding 4th so they have my spare transmission to rebuild it.

It'll be a couple months before its done, but with it flat bellied on 37s with the crawler and DB/Mid travel it should be beastly.

After that I just have to come up with a rear diff solution that won't break or break my checking account

Be careful with the rear flex....without shocks mine has enough droop to stretch the wiring harness for the rear end. Brake lines are good with the 5" braided lines.

We have 14s in Eddys already, he's had them over a year. You know how we are. If it doesn't work, we'll find a way to make it happen. I wish I'd gotten 16s. I'm afraid thes wont be long enough. gonna try to set them for 5 up 9 down. I can get 2" longer rod ends but I don't see that helping with anything other than shock placement

Hell I need a few people to tell me we can't.

What did you do (cut) to the rear fenders to clear 37's?

BTW, I have a friend :)anonymous:) that hooked me up with some 14" Kings with hoops and I am getting about 6" up to bump and about 8" drooped. I'm limited at the moment by my wheel hitting the rear of the fender. I think I hear a grinder....be right back.

I think I cut 4 1/2" out of the rear of the rear fender/flare. I believe i started at 2.5" in the fron and tappered it back to 4.5 or 5. Then we had to cut and replate the rear of my HC rear bumper.

Pretty much we cut everything that hit or looked like it was gonna hit the tire. Then went back and tried to make it look pretty

With a 6" lift you don't have to trim quite as much, just 2" off of the back edge worked for me with the set up Glueman has now. I think because of the pivot point change with he taller lift the tire tucks under the top lip easier. I don't have the photos anymore but I only had to mark a 2" line at the rear of the fender and taper it back into the OE lip where it curves I to the roof of the fender. I posted the pics a couple years ago so they are in this thread somewhere....go fish :)

So is there a coilover option for these lifts that DOESN'T cost $1500+? I have a crapload of money I have to throw at the truck in the next few months and spending almost as much on front coilovers as I will on a new rear diff is kinda nuts.
