I believe the double cardon w/ slip yolk for a double cab taco is closer to $600. Due to the length they have to use larger dia tubing, you will also need to cut your old carrier bearing mount off to make room for the drive shaft at full bump.

I know it wasn't anywhere close to that. A while back, I had one made for my F350 that was only $500.

I just went back in my emails & found where I bought the shaft for the Tacoma. It was $469.

If you put one of these on the front of your Tacoma what is it, how does it work, what about the rear? Right now I have BS5100 and a fabtech with uniball

If by one of these you mean the lift. It lowers the crossmember and front differential thus allowing the front end to be higher. The rear is lifted with blocks.

They hold up well. With some upgrades they are noteworthy. Mine has gone through some abuse and takes it like a champ. It just lowers the suspension mounting points to allow the vehicle to be higher. You can then fit larger tires and have an upgrade over stock as far as suspension goes.

It lowers your front suspension mounting points so low that you will get hung up on a speed bump and die...

What did you add additional to your fabTech?

I like 'em tall with a bit of lean!

Coilovers for a DB lift, Fox, Icon, and maybe even King make them. And get Alcan or Deaver springs for the rear to ditch the blocks and get some additional lift. Custom made leaf packs are the best, but pricey.

If your looking for the Cali/Carolina/bro lean, then add a spacer to the front or crank up the coilovers. If you don't have coilovers and have the crap strut spacer, then get mid travel springs and 5100s plus the spacer. I should shut up, I get buzzed and start giving advice on here and it's usually wrong.

I guess it really depends what you want to spend and how well you want it to function
