Anyone out there with BDS DB lift experience major paint chipping right out of the box? I just received my kit after waiting 12+ weeks and almost every piece has paint chipped or scraped off. Needless to say I’m pissed off about it. CB6DB1D6-7B06-427D-8141-77C4746B5CF9.jpg7AF8A018-86ED-41E0-B985-38E86B723332.jpg

Looks like it was dropped or something, mine was shipped to my installer but looking at it, doesn't seem to be chipped

It’s 7 different boxes and pieces from every box are chipped I just didn’t want to load all my pictures. I did have it shipped to my house which looking back sh I would have tried to ship freight to my work. I think fedex throws shit around. But also the packaging is horrible. Multiple metal pieces in one box with just some paper between them. Nothing is wrapped with foam or anything. Not what I expected with the money that I’ve spent!

I contacted people bought the lift through yes. I found place online that was a lot cheaper then anywhere else I had found, which looking back may have been a mistake. But who doesn’t want to save $600-700. I assume yours came freight then if only 2 boxes. What lift did you get?

Lol yes I know BDS. I also got the UCAs from BDS which was another box. I assume they package different for freight and also if order directly from BDS. I just don’t want to start seeing rust on my new stuff by winter.

    Update on BDS paint damage
I’m being told they are shipping me all new parts to replace the ones that were damaged and missing paint from my original order.

Can +2 Total Chaos UCAs and LCAs be used when installing either BDS or Fabtech 6 inch lift? I understand I'll have to do extended axle shafts and tie rods

I've only seen a All Pro LT kit + Pro Comp DB lift combo confirmed. Buried deep in this thread and prepare for the site to roast you hahah :crapstorm:

    Yea its always risky haha,
My though process is to lift the truck with the DB kit and then the LT arms will be to provide stability and more wheel travel. Yes I'd like use my truck off road more than daily it as I work from home.

Fully agree! I am sure there are some 6” DB lifts that are structurally of less value, but the BDS kit is stout and handles everything I’ve thrown at it.

    Mine too,
I lived in Colorado for about a year, wheeled every weekend during the summer, NEVER had an issue, I did have a 2018 with bilsteins and 285's with quite a bit of body damage
