Highly recommend going to the “taco tabs”, I was constantly having to realign my truck, did the taco tabs when I re did my steering rack did a weekend in Colorado doing the mountain passes (imogene, black bear, engineer ) drove 1300 miles round trip and alignment is still spot on.

Already have parts on order and should be here today. If I have issues I will definitely think about going with the taco tabs.

Yeah a 17 in Wisconsin with winter and salt galore. Everything else came apart quite easily. I’m assuming that Toyota could use more grease or antisieze when assembling

Installed a new steering rack, new LCA with White Poly bushings, and Taco tabs. dialed in the alignment with the ICON billet UCA's.

End result has been fantastic. BDS lift components are solid and didn't require any "reinforcement" to the tab area. completed multiple Colorado Passes (Imogene, Black Bear, and Engineer) two weeks ago along with 1300 mile drive round trip from New Mexico. Alignment is still spot on, from when we did it. if anything would have knocked it out it would have been the technical section prior to the "steps" on Black Bear Pass.

Any one have any tips/tricks of adjusting preload or ride height on fox 2.5” dsc coilovers while on the vehicle? Looking to just get drivers side up some as I have plenty of clearance of tire on passenger side but drivers side is close to rubbing.

I think my drivers side is cranked another 1/4"

Did you do it yourself? Any trick to getting the collar adjusted other than brute force?

I had a local shock guy rebuild my coilovers and he did it.

Pretty sure tire was off then there is a set screw and the UCA uniball bolt was taken out for more room.

All done finally! For now anyways lol. Was a long wait for me since ordering the lift in early May. Truck drives great and looks great. Currently contemplating doing the speedo recalibration and ordering a set of Alcan springs for the rear.

Ran my first full tank through the truck after 6” lift and 35” tires. Got a whopping 15.5mpg!
