That is without speedo recalibration as well. I’m assuming you don’t have yours done either?
    You have it re-geared?

Anyone out there running the BDS 6” Coilover lift have before and after measurements? I had measured mine from center of hub to the bottom of the fender as I thought this would be a better measurement than ground to fender as that includes the increase in tire size. Anyways I’m only seeing about 5” of lift in the front and was wondering if this was the norm.

The weight of your aftermarket front bumper might be bringing it down a little.

I understand that and I had the bumper and winch pre-lift. When I measured before I was at about 20-5/8” (fender to center of hub)and after at 20-3/8”. So realistically only lost 1/4 “ on the stock suspension. I would hope that would not equate to 1” with the new fox setup. Currently at about 25-1/2”

Do you have the Fox coilovers? I definitely got 6 with mine, but I might have them cranked up a bit because I got more then the 5" out of my Deaver rear leaves

Yes I do. Haven’t done any adjustments on them though for ride height. Have 2” of thread above the lock collar on the Coilover

When you get a chance check the numbers on the coil.

On the the coil itself usually. 3 numbers

    First is length
    Second internal diameter
    Third is the spring rate

Ok coo so nothing has changed from when the kit was first released.

I'm no suspension expert. All I know is I cranked the 16" 600Lbs down to the point where I tried 18" 650lb springs then settled on 18" 700lb springs and I've been happy since on the height and stiffness. (No swaybar either)

Only a front Trail gear bumper no winch. The bigger springs are strictly for cosmetic reasons from what I understand.

How much pre load do you currently have?

I haven’t done anything to the preload springs or collar as far as adjusting. When I contacted fox they said their is 1200lbs of force on the stop collar with the strut off the vehicle. The only thing I measured is the threads above the collar on the coilover and there is 2”. My sway bar is still on the vehicle. I think the only lift I really got was from the drop bracket because my cv axles are dead straight and I believe they had a slight angle down to them when stock but not 100% sure. Anyway I’m just looking for some feedback and/or ideas of what people have done with good results. Really wish I could have ordered the kit with heavier springs but they claimed I couldn’t.

appreciate the info though. I may look into longer or heavier springs.
