Thanks! Picked up the dual row timing chain for her, do away with the weak link single row with plastic guides, WTH with Toyota taking that path... But she should be a tank with the dual row timing chain install is done, just like the old 75-82 20R and 22R!

Was the turning radius affected that much?

Was the turning radius affected that much?

How has it been without them no issues I'm guessing?

No issues, and I think the turning radius isn’t affected nearly as much as you’d think.
I still crank, and make tight trail turns that sometimes surprise myself lol

For the 3rd Gen tacomas - Fabtech has absolutely the worst turning radius

    Stock : )
I am considering a drop bracket lift for my new 2023 Tacoma. I’ve owned many Tacomas and have utilized spacers lifts, spring lifts, adjusts coilovers lifts and a 4.5” RCD drop bracket on my old 2015.

The 2015 took me anywhere I wanted to go, including Big Bend park in south Texas, it was smooth riding on the road and drove straight and true without the bump steer or road tracking at 75+. Probably the best driver out of the bunch.

I’ve been considering the BDS 6” with the fox setup, but I have to wonder if that’s too much for a daily driver and occasional 2K+ road trip.

How many of you guys daily drive and have taken long road trips in your 6” lifted Tacomas and felt you were good to go for the next one?

PS, if you don’t have first hand experience of owning a drop bracket lift, please feel free to keep you vast knowledge to yourself.

    Thanks

Edit, for a pic of the old 2015 : )
