I think you need 12" travel shocks...not sure tho...best thing is to take your current shock out and measure the travel.

For you guys with the 6" lifts how do the trucks ride off road? I do a lot of dirt roads maybe 100 + miles each week in the desert.

Would it be a good idea getting a Pro comp kit with Icon or fox coilovers for the front anfd some Icon add a packs for the rear for a smoother ride with some 35" tires?

Or should I just stay with a 2.5" lift with extended travel Icons with Total Chaos controls arms and Icon add a pack for the rear and run 33"?

all this on a 4x4 2012 double cab

    Thx in advance

Love mine. Does amazing off road. Snow, Mud , ice and rock....does perfect with my 33"s.

Alot of people are doing the 2.5" lift with 33" in some way, shape or form nowadays and seem to like it. Go with what you want and how you want it to look.

My truck and my buddies Tacoma have the Fab 6" lift. He traded his Taco in for an FJ and he did the 2.5" lift with controls arms and runs 33"s

My opinion = either works just fine really.

So I just installed the lift this past weekend. i'm noticing a vibration from the rear end when i pass through 20-30 mph and when i decelerate. Would installing a solid drive shaft fix this issue?

All in all the truck looks pretty epic now. I'll post pictures in the next day or so.
