Anyone and i mean ANYONE, that shitcans a set of Icon RR shocks, for a set of rancho 5000's Does not deserve to own a tacoma. And you paid 650 for a set of springs? I have a fabtech lift and went with allpros 3" for 281. And my truck sits level. Might want to look into the brands you are bashing before doing so.

True enough. I didn't realize the OP was talking about rock crawling...
I never said my 6" Fabtech could out perform a TC Long Travel kit...I just noted that the dude that said "fuck nay" has 3" of suspension lift. The bottom line is to consider the source of everyone's comments.

I never said Rancho 5000s are better than Icon RRs.....I have no experience with Icon RRs. I can tell you one thing though. The Dirt Logic 2.25 or whatever came with my Fabtech kit were sweet for about 2 months, then they leaked...then the white body replacements I was putting on every few months after that from Fabtech are shit too. I just purchased a set of the Ranchos, I haven't put them on yet, but I'm willing to bet they will be 100 times better than the leaky Fabtech shocks I have on there currently.

I just saw that....cool! I might have to call for some prices...I wasn't going to lift that beater truck, but who knows.
    Thanks!

Ya i do some fabricating but wouldnt be comfortable doing the xmember that supports my front diff. lol. I am thinking about just driving down to allpro and asking them to redo the xmember and install their lt kit.

I was talking about the Fabtech rear shocks. Not the Icons....sorry for not being clear with that post.

The $650 was what I recall...It was somewhere around there, and it was to add a couple leafs, and recurve the pack so the blocks didn't need to be in there anymore.

Those AllPro 3" packs that you speak of.....I assume they lift the rear of the truck 3"? That would make my truck sit level. I wonder how much shipping to Canuckistan would be....it probably woulda worked out a little cheaper in the end....but oh well, whatever.

Ya shipping would be a small fortune. Shipping from one end of california to the other was like $80 but i have about 12" total travel in the rear with them.

    12" is impressive.

Yeah no kidding. The screwed up part is that our dollar is very close to yours right now.
Shipping across the border can be a nightmare....the CAD government likes to take a piece of the pie too....brokerage, tax.....bah.

    Yes, that was installed. $650

install wouldnt be a problem. Me and 3 other guys swapped my rear springs in 25mins. I think you should give the taco a road trip.

X2. CraigTRD's shocks leaked, springs broke, and cracked crossmember bolts. Sounds like a quality product to me lol

If the company wasn't good to deal with, and they hadn't fixed the problems, I would be in the Hell No section too.

I don't do much offroading anymore either....so I guess I don't need something as crazy as the total chaos systems...
Camburg had a setup I think too....
I basically just searched 6" suspension lift and only ProComp and Fabtech came up when I bought the kit....4 years ago. Wow time flies.

WEll ya'll here is the verdict, and i am actually very happy with it. I will be able to fit an 8" travel king up front. Which is perfect because then when i roll to all pro and have them put in a new xmember and install their lt kit, i wont need new coils. The 8"travel kings are just as long extended as my fabtechs are now, but they run all the way down, instead of having a 6" extension at the bottom. Now the question, do mild use lt trucks run 2.0's or 2.5's?
