Can anyone say if they felt like their backup camera video quality was any lower on an aftermarket stereo deck?

I installed a Pioneer AVIC-8200 in my 2015 Taco & used the PAC CAM-TY12 plus a 6v step down regulator. It seems like the video quality is a bit less on the Pioneer. I still measure 6v at the camera so I think it's getting proper power.

I think the video is still usable, but it's certainly not the same as with the factory head unit.
