So I have a 2019 Sport with factory tri fold hard cover. My wife and I have our cleaning equipment in the bed and recently found out that the cover leaks. Has anyone else have this happen to them? My dealership is starting a claim on this issue and hope to get a credit for a different one. What other brand/style is worth its money?

Mine lets a little water in. Anything I want to keep dry is kept in 5 gallon buckets with the screw top lids.

Make sure you latch it down tight. You might have a little water run in but not much.

climb in the bed on a sunny day and look for light entry points. Adjust the lid or add a small bead of black rubber silicone to the needed area. Also, close the tailgate then close the lid in order to minimize water entry

Did they tell you it was water proof? I think they all leak and I don't think they are meant to be water proof.

They do, some more than others. My local truck accessories place, that outfits my work trucks, actually has their customers sign a sheet stating this, before they charge/order/install. He said until they started that, large portion were under the assumption they were watertight and bringing them back in.

I have a Gator cover on mine and it works well. It leaks a little bit if it's raining really hard, but like @MidCitiesMildMan anything I don't want together we I keep in plastic bins.

I have an Undercover Flex hard trifold. It's a great tonneau cover but still lets in a little water. I have a Bed Rug so any moisture that gets in is under the rug and helps keep stuff dry.

Get inside and look for where you see light .You can seal areas with foam weather striping with adhesive on one side .

I've never seen a tonneau cover that doesn't leak at least a little.

Mine never leaks. I have it in the garage but park outside all day m-f. Never seen but a couple drops from when I open the tailgate.

I have some water coming in on the sides but near the middle is dry. I did have to take mine completely off and place it back on as it wasn't fully snapped in near the rear windows. You can take it off and back on alone but much easier with a second person.
