    Hi everyone,

I have a 2023 tacoma trd offroad premium with the JBL system.
It's alright but I know it can be so much better. After reading about all the options ect. And how much a pain the jbl system is to modify overall.

My one question is for those that have the set up I do if you change out the head unit do you lose the ability to use the different camera views, front and rear, 360, and tbe side views on the oem head unit?

That will tell me what direction I plan to go in.

    Thank you everyone!

I have a Sony head unit upgrade that supports only the backup camera for my 2017. I think some of the other Sony models support multiple cameras for newer Tacomas. One source is company Trail Grid Pro, where I bought mine. Browse their site for some head unit upgrade options. There are several vendors that sell head unit upgrades.

Certain radios that Maestro RR/RR2 compatible retain the 360 camera function.

I did the Kenwood Excelon oversize and it works great!
