2011 Trd Offroad Factory radio Non JBL is dead. Purchased a headunit from Crutchfield, wasn't satisfied returned it.

The headunits im interested in are out of stock for unknown dates.

Are there any factory radios i can replace the factory with?

Crutchfield is a great place to look (added benefit of discounts on install parts)

Set your price and features you want. Narrow down the list

Look at reviews on those units

Yeah supply chain problems are not fun. When you have your mind set on something.

Depends what features you want. I have a single DIN Pioneer that does everything I need. Or post on the 2G for sale trying to buy another OEM if that's what you are good with, sometimes people just give them away in the Free Stuff thread

I only keep to Sony, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer

Not much to choose from that's available on Crutchfield

Of that list I myself prefer Pioneer though never owned a double DIN DVD so I can't comment on those in particular. I'd sit tight re Crutchfield unless you can find something directly on Pioneer's site.

When you say dead, does that mean totally? As in nothing works at all?

You did a fuse test with a DVM, right?

On my 2005 4runner I was able to install a Scion XB head unit. Double din, touch screen, Bluetooth, etc. Was plug and play.

The screen goes out randomly. Volume has a mind of its own. Sounds like cold solder I'm my opinion.

That is the SOP for a bad solder on the IX chip.
