Hey guys does anyone have or know where to get the instructions to install a factory hood deflector on our 3rd gens? The dealer forgot to include them and all I can find online is for a Camry and Rav4. Cheers.

email dealer and have them send you directions.

my 2nd gen just clipped on to the holes on the hood.

btw the hood deflector damaged my paint by rubbing it off where it mounted.

What is the purpose of the deflector? They do more harm than good.

Got it figured out. Took me a few minutes to realizes that square parts go in square holes and round parts in round holes. It looks alright the biggest reason I got it was to keep all the rocks from chipping the leading edge of the hood. I just spent 500 fixing the hood of the 4Runner i traded for my new Tacoma and a deflector would have prevented most of them.

Those clear films seem to work also, but will yellow over time. Same stuff that's on the forward facing rear fender bulges. I forgot who makes the precut one for the hood, but takes some patience to apply.
