Unfortunately, I was never able to get the Rakattach to work with the Tacoma. Here are photos of the Yakima Holdup without RA in both my Subaru as well as the Tacoma. I drew lines to show the angle in relation to the bumper line on both. After taking the truck to a local Rack and Road and testing a Kuat from the floor, I am pretty sure now that the problem is not whether the receiver is level but rather that it appears to have a larger tolerance than my other receiver. So, unless you have a stinger with a quick adjustment to take up this slop, you will encounter this same problem.

Thats a bad rack you can plainly see the hitch receiver is straight. You can also see the bike rack was welded crooked. I bought one that looked like this and returned it as defective and got a replacement that was fine.
