They were only available on Limited models 2012-15 I believe.

Bump. I believe there is a seat ecu controller on the bottom followed by a 3 prong connector. Assuming it's a ground and hi/low option. Anyone have schematics on it

Correct, each seat has it's own control module. The switch sends a control signal (I assume 0-12v) to the Seat Heater Control ECU to turn it on and set the temperature.
From what i understand those seat heater modules had a high failure rate so finding good ones my prove difficult.

SEAT HEATER SYSTEM > SYSTEM DESCRIPTION > SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
    1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
      1. By operating the seat heater switch, the temperature can be controlled within the range of 30 to 40°C (86 to 104°F).
      2. The seat heater switch indicator light provides seat heater on/off status.
      3. The seat heaters of both seats are controlled by the seat heater controls, which are located under the respective seat.

Would I be able to use a universal kit found on ebay to get these suckers to work? I doubt I'll find a factory harness for em.

Here is a PDF showing installation of seat heater pads in a 2015 Tacoma from Toyota. It may help you find power and ground.

Looks a bit different from my setup. The seat itself has a ECU
