I'm wanting to put on a trd pro front skid on my sport but I know these can cause annoyances for oil changes. If I'm still getting factory mantainance done through the dealer, do they work around plates or should it be full on removed first? It's a dumb question but I'm curious.

I have an all pro skid on mine. They didn't say anything about it during my last oil change.

That's good. I'm just worried because this is my first truck and first mantainance plan and neither I want to mess up.

I believe the TRD Pro skid has an access hole for the drain plug and a access panel for the filter, so they probably don't even need to take the skid off....shouldn't be an issue.

I believe the new skids have an oil access hole.

It has an access port, in a way it makes it far easier to perform.

Normally you have to remove the skid plate and its slightly more difficult due to the stupid chin spoiler. 4runners are a pain as well now.

Miss the old spin on filters :(
