    Greetings all!

My first time on this forum and hopefully a first time taco owner in the next couple of weeks. I was just hoping to get some input form owners who had their taco factory ordered. I put my deposit down at my local dealer and the salesmen said it will take 8-12 weeks. I was just wondering if any of you received your trucks before the initial 8 week period. The salesmen is trying to allocate a truck in the meantime in which he hopefully finds. Your time is greatly appreciated

Expect it to get pushed back by a month or more. My original timeframe was 4-6 weeks. Then extended to 4 months.

I ordered a Super white TRD off road double cab short bed. No sunroof, with the entune package that includes that navigation and the tow package. Also automatic if that makes a difference.

I also live in the Bay area of California if that also makes a difference in delivery time

Currently waiting, also. Initially I was told three months but now I'm being told two months. In fact, truck was supposedly built today. End of month delivery. Good luck.

I'm sure they'll find it before the factory makes one and sends it to your dealer. Thats a pretty common truck.

yeah that is exactly what I was thinking, not much of a special color pretty standard and pretty standard package. I really hope they do find one fast! I want it now!

The Off Road comes standard with Entune Premium/Nav, so don´t let the dealer make that sound like something special and try to charge you more for it.

That is a pretty common set up, look on cars.com and I bet you find 20 or more with those specs within driving distance to you.
And don´t go into the dealership with the ¨I want it now¨ attitude, they can read that look and you will lose all negotiating power.

Yeah exactly its just that this dealership actually beat my lowest offer from a Toyota dealership in Los Angeles. I got the truck for $39k out the door which came out to be about $35,500 sticker which was 2k less then my areas average. People in the bay area where paying around $37k sticker and 41k out the door. The guy at the dealership didn't have a white one with the standard etune package he had one with the JBL speakers he was giving to me for 1k more out the door but I really don't need that so he said he will order one for me for that OTD price.

They should be able to just do a Dealer Trade, that should be a common truck.

yeah that is what my salesmen was saying he will try and do in the mean time. He allocated two in the past two weeks but someone else won the bid. Apparently I'm next in line for a dealer allocation or trade.

I'm also from the Bay Area. Ordered mine 2/14 and it showed up 3/14. I didn't have to put anything down but I couldn't pick it up for a few days and another salesman was trying to sell it out from under me. The salemanager had to hide the keys. I guess off-road manuls are hard to find around here.

Seems odd you can't find this truck, and a good deal on it, in a 250 mile radius around you.

I think they are hard to find everywhere, Toyota should start pumping out a few more manuals.
