More than likely not JBL. The JBL units have a little square on the top of the face that says JBL.

JBL typically has a subwoofer in the storage space behind the passenger-side rear seat. If you don't have a sub back there you likely don't have the JBL system.

I have the JBL and it's meh. It's good for a stock radio but there are much better aftermarket options out there. Replacing the sub and installing kilmats sound deadening tiles made a noticeable improvement in sound quality.

If you’re going to upgrade your speakers i agree with wattapunk get your self some sound deadening when you take the doors apart you don’t have to go crazy doing it just do the larger flat areas. It make a world of difference from road noise and will make your speakers sound better

When I replaced my carpet with all weather flooring, I installed the kilmat tiles to the cab floor and back wall. I will eventually install some in the doors next.

Yes. Definitely a noticeable difference especially covering that back cab wall where the sub is located. I think eventually covering the doors will reduce road noise further.

I have a stock factory JBL head unit for sale (not listed yet), if you're wanting one.

That is something I'd like to do some day. If I ever have any door or carpet or seat apart its stupid not to do. Did it take you long ? An hour ? Sorry don't want to jack this thread.

Most time consuming part is removing the seats and console. Applying the tiles was easy. Its peel and stick. Took a few hours since I had to pull the carpet and install the new flooring. A cordless impact with a 14mm socket made quick work dealing with the front and rear seats.
