O.K. had the dealer install a factory self storing roof rack on my 2011 T/X TRD Quad Cab 4x4 so I could mount a couple bike racks on top. What I noticed is with the cross over bars in place the rack generates a lot of wind noise. I was wondering is anyone has installed a fairing on the rack and did this cure the wind noise? Never had an issue with my FJ which was a big surprise due to how large that rack was.

Nope. I think it's broke. I'll send you my addy so you can ship it to me. Lol.

But that is a good ideal. You could be a pioneer for roof rack mods.

Yes, you can get yakima mighty mounts and Yakima fairing and it goes right on. Go to your local Yakima dealer and ask them, very easy I have it on my factory rack

So how did the Yakima do for wind noise? How about a pic as well.
