Factory Security System and other noob questions for future Taco owner!

That is on my list! I have a loaner scheduled but the earliest appointment I could get at Waipahu with a loaner is the beginning of August. I am hoping they have all the parts by then. Much Mahalos!

Think the sticker means you have the Toyota alarm Installed... They put a similar sticker on my front windows after installing the VIP RS system. Should also have the glass break sensor Installed lower left panel... That's a for sure sign you have the factory alarm system installed.

 

Is it located behind the kick panel?

 

No, they put mine in one of the empty spots to the left of the steering wheel, where the bed lights and bed power switches are.

 

I have that alarm sticker on mine, I think it's just the factory plain old alarm nothing fancy.

I'd be ok with someone stealing my wheels. I could probably get two sets of wheels and tires for the amount the insurance check would be for some OEM 18's. lol
