Changed the link, the archive I uploaded was corrupt. Flash drive I was using must be pooping out, just noticed anything I took off it was corrupted, including that archive I uploaded.

so on ebay found the 03 taco manuals (3), 1 is for diag,specs,maint,prep, the other for eng,chas,elec,body, both with red/black covers. the 3rd is gray w/ a computer chip saying long schematics. are these the proper FSM from Toyota?? $200 aint bad but only if its proper. any help?

 

You may have already bought it, but I still have a 2001 FSM, exactly as you described. Three separate books, red, black and white covers. I can upload a picture later if you'd like. I think I paid $150 off ebay for them. Maybe I'll throw them back on ebay someday...or maybe i'll get another 2001 for a project truck.

I haven't been on this forum for the last few weeks, been busy as all hell with the COVID crap. I just wanted to comment that I did sign up for techstream, to get all the FSMs. I'm going off memory here, because I'm in the middle of moving computers (was just laid off), so I don't have all my old info at hand.

But, I did write a script that would scrape all the FSM pages from techstream. I did download all the 2011 manuals, just because I have a 2011. The last part I left off on and have not finished is a way to index the thousands of PDFs I have. It's not one big pile of nonsense, it can be indexed, but I only had 1/2 - 3/4 of the program to sort it written before I had to stop and do actual work.

I'm still busy trying to figure my life out in general, but if anyone wants a copy of what I have PM me. Also, if anyone is interested, I did have another idea. I could setup an Amazon server and buy a year license for techstream access. We could all share the 1 account through a gateway method I use (used) at work. My background is IT, so, this is all stuff I do/did on a daily basis.
