So I just called the dealer to see if there was anyway I could order a stock suspension from a 3rd gen tacoma to put on my 2nd gen and they quoted me almost 2300 dollars to order the complements before install charges...does that sound right?

Watch the 3rd gen marketplace. Can be had a lot cheaper. Where you located? I've got front and rear shocks from 2018 I'd be willing to sell.

I have seen a few sets on here but shipping is a real pain. I’m in Wisconsin. What’s the details on the shocks you have?

I have been looking at that route as well as I will need springs and was hoping to order as a group. Looking at a set up like that front and rear with an aal looks to be about 750. I really wasn’t looking for a whole 2inches of lift though just wanted to replace a worn tired suspension.

Thanks for the advice! I’m thinking about going the 5100 route anyway. I may just get some new springs later. My shocks are pretty shot right now.
