I’m looking to use these existing empty threaded inserts on my 2015 access cab rear cabin wall to mount a the back wall of a storage system. Does anyone happen to know what size bolt and thread pitch they accept? There’s larger holes above them with m8 1.25 bolts but these are smaller.

I believe they are M6. I bet your local hardware store would let you walk out with a couple to check the fit before you buy.

Most Japanese car manufactures use the JIS standard for bolt sizes. You can always look up a JIS chart online and it'll give you all the bolt sizes and the size socket head they have. AS you have already discovered the size down from the M8 1.25 is an M6 1.00 and they have 12 and 10 mm heads respectively.

Subbed for creativity. Especially with that user name. I've been wanting to do this since 2015. Kiddo car seats precluded any action. But stereo and sound deadening going in soon, can't wait to toss those plastic panels off a cliff.

Back to you OP, what is your design/vision? Please don't say molle panel.
