Also I should’ve stated. I am at 20 K miles. And very low tread.

I’ve heard of getting extra live with
I’ve heard of getting extra lift with extra springs but I haven’t seen this idea quite yet. I’m not sure if it works or not though. But if you rotate it just right it will give you about a half inch lift right?

I've always heard those Goodyear Kevlar tires suck. My buddy lost the bead on his on a stock-friendly wheeling trip with his new truck. What's funny is, the Toyo A30s that came with my TRD Sport were excellent. I beat them, aired them down, took them on rocky trails, sand, never had any bead issues. I had two flats but those were from running over nails. Switched to Falken Wildpeak AT3W around 35,000 miles. The factory tires had really decent tread left, so much that Discount Tire bought them for used stock.

Repeatedly, over the 2 miles I limped it home. The air pressure was holding pretty well and the spring wasn't hitting anything on the truck so I drove it slowly to the house.

My 07 came with bfg rugged trails (more like rugged fails lol) I got rid of them at around 15,000 miles... tread was so worn i didn't trust them for the next winter. Went to bfg a/t's in e rated... have had them on other trucks for probably 35 years... never had a flat and they last forever.

The point of the 50 post rule is to make sure that real members of this forum are doing business with other real members - not scammers or just people who come here to sell their junk, never to be heard from again. I know it’s sort of annoying to new people who aren’t trying to rip anyone off, but it’s supposed to help keep this place more of a community than just an unmonitored internet marketplace. You can probably sell all the stuff you’re trying to get rid of on facebook, offer up, ebay, etc… in the meantime. But asking questions you already know the answers to and making shit posts for the sake of getting your post count up will likely get you kicked out of here. It’s also a quick way to get yourself on a lot of people’s ignore list, ant that defeats the purpose of being on a niche forum like this one.

My Toyo A30s are good enough that I'm going to wait to replace them until I need to from normal wear. We'll see how long that is. They do ok on the occasional gravel and dirt.

Again I understand. So I’ll just continue to lurk. Not the end of the world. My search bar works great and I’ve yet to not find what I’m looking for.

I loved the Kevlars. Ran them for 34k before I bought new wheels and tires. Sold them and the guy still has them on his Sequoia. Probably 45-50k on them now. Never a problem.

I've been running the goodyear adventure with kevlar, and they work a lot better on the tacoma then my gen1 tundra. Tempted to put the stock firestones back on at some point just to see how bad everyone says they suck.

Sorry dude. Find it all very silly... who gets to determine if your posts are legitimate or not?

You're asking questions other people have asked, just like the last 1,000 new members and they don't get any grief. You're good

So if I'm reading this right, you already know the answer to your tire question. And you are making fluff posts to get to where you can sell some stuff?

    Stellar.

I Have 27K on the Stock Goodyear Kevlars. I hope they last until the summer and around 35K miles. The first time out on a gravel road, I ended up with a cut. Definitely not a puncture from a nail, but a small slice. Luckily it could be patched and has held up fine. That helped convinced the wife we need to ditch the stock wheels and tires.
