I'm considering installing the factory TRD lift kit on my 2022 TRD Offroad. I would like to know the ride quality differences on the street. I love the ride of the stock OR suspension and am concerned how lifting the truck would feel. I would hate to install the kit and find out it rides like a dump truck on the street. Any TRD OR trucks that have this lift kit I would appreciate your feedback.
    Thanks,

I have noticed no difference in ride quality since I put the TRD lift on my truck. I am very satisfied not only with the ride quality but the look is definitely an improvement!

Just installed the shocks only with 1/4" spacer to compensate for the extra weight of the bumper and skid I put on also, this weekend to get rid of the spacer lift. The ride quality is nicer than the stock OR in my opinion.IMG_1603.jpg IMG_1599.jpg

Does anyone know why Toyota is not recommending TRD lift kit on a 2x4 vehicles?
I even spoke with a local dealer and they also strongly advised against it but I could not any specifics from the guy!

Correct, but they were strongly against it, and now I see it even says on the peoduct itself thet is not compatible with 2x4 or any 4 cylinder.

I did, but this was a sales guy so he didn't really know. He just told me thet he went to the shop and asked - three different mechanics told him they do no not recommend TRD lift on 2wd only 4x4.

The dealer kit is way overpriced some will justify the price for warranty . But if u look at repair cost vs purchase price u are still losing money . I would go after market ask your dealer about other lift options my Toyota dealer has a shop they use that is way cheaper than the oem lift kit .

There is no reason to not install on a 2WD, It's the same suspension components, just no front drive train.

I installed it myself at home. Super easy, just save yourself the aggravation of switching the coils over yourself and have a shop do that part if you don't have a good safe spring compressor, none of the ones from the parts stores would work for me. I got charged like $20 and it took the guy 15 min.

Look what you can expect to pay for the TRD Lift on a new truck from the dealership. I can't believe that people would actually pay this price, but they must because that's what Findlay Toyota in Arizona is charging.

The red or green one with $9,690 of dealer add on's
