    Hi Flowin,
No, I own Fire Guys Tinting in Antioch,IL 60002. I do know of the tint shop in Schaumberg and heard they also do good work.
I noticed you have a 3" lift on your truck. I am going to a lift shop in Arlington Heights next Wednesday to see a 4" lift (after completion) on a tacoma. If your ever avail. i would like to see your truck in person. Im really torn between a 3" or 6" lift.

I live in GA now...orig. from Saint Charles - do yourself a favor and stay with 2.5" -3" in the front and 1.5 - 2" in the back - you can install it yourself and it's a lot cheaper, plus you can get away with smaller tires

There's a Chicago section on here - I know most of the guys and you can meet with them and check out the lifts

Just out of curiosity is "lifetime" tint worth it?

They will here too, it's a moving violation up here. But most aren't going to pull you over just for the tint. I've even been pulled over, had my tint metered, and still not ticketed

Yes it is, the tinting world can be very confusing. Appling any of the high end films (3M, Llumar, ect) from a reputable shop will usually come with a lifetime warrenty from the manufacturer. Lifetime warrenty film is guranteed against delamination, discoloring, and/or fading.

Window film is a dyed polyester material. Red, blue & yellow are used to achieve the desired shading. Some lower end companies can't control the yellow dye in there film from fading out, this results in the film turning purple because just red and blue are left.

Plus, tint is a PITA to remove so i recommend only having it done once.

Huper Optiks is a high end film. I believe it is a ceramic based film which means it will have a high heat rejection rating. All the high end companies have this line. For instance 3M's line is called Crystalline. Llumars line is called CTX series. Usually higher priced but worth it if you live in a hot climate.

One of the 100 local shops around my area carry huper optik. I will give them a try. Seen their website and they seem like a premier brand for films. If those Germans can make Tint like they make their cars, I'm all in!
