    SC. My family has land that was passed over by Sherman on his march and we have graves on our land from where they buried the dead in old Civil War battles. Estill, SC which has the most millionaire per capita than anywhere else in the state which you wouldn't know by looking at the town, was home to the first Ford dealer anywhere in the world. The Tuten Hunting club in Estill is on of the oldest in the nation.

    Yup I don't think that I will ever leave SC. I love it here too much. I'll probably leave my hometown because it's slowly dying. But will always stay in SC.

    Can't argue with that but I'm a coastal guy myself. I hope to one day live in the Charleston area, maybe Daniel or James Island. Btw do you know why Florida hasn't fallen in the ocean yet? Because Georgia sucks. :D

    Guilty, but only because I just moved here and Oregon doesn't have an NFL team. :eek:

    Prior to my new loyalism to the Ducks I didn't really follow an NCAA football team. :)

    Very small, and meanigless place. Not much here. In summer it gets into the 80's, winter in the -30's. We have beaches and boating, and skiing and snowmobiling. No fanfare, but, we've hosted;

    Rolling Stones
    AC/DC
    Eagles
    U2
    The Pope

    Born here;
    Kurgan (WWF)
    Yvon Durelle (almost KO'd Archie Moore)
    Donald Sutherland
    Louis B Myer (founder of MGM)

    Oh and we have McCains French Fries (producer of 33% of the world french fries)

    Hawaii has its own time zone (Hawaiian Standard Time.) There is no daylight savings time.) The time runs two hours behind Pacific Standard Time and five hours behind Eastern Standard Time.

    Hawaii also houses the world's biggest telescope and more scientific observatories in one place than anywhere else in the WORLD!

    Yeah sorry for the incorrect fact, we were the state that HAD the biggest at one point, i believe we are down to like the 4th or 5th now, but we still have the most scientist and observatories in one area though sponsored by numerous countries

    More than one-third of the world's commercial supply of pineapples comes from Hawaii,
    from east to west Hawaii is the widest state in the United States, and Honolulu is the largest city in the world -- at least it has the longest borders. According to the state constitution any island (or islet) not named as belonging to a county belongs to Honolulu. This makes all islands within the Hawaiian Archipelago, that stretch to Midway Island (1,500 miles northwest of Hawaii) part of Honolulu. Honolulu is about 1,500 miles long or more distance than halfway across the 48 contiguous states.
