Its most likely something within the driveline, but could be as simple as the leaf springs torqueing and untorqueing.

Is your passenger seat all the way back? I found it to make a clunking sound I mistook for the sound made when your door is slightly ajar and you go over a bump. Brought the seat up a click and seems to have ceased - or at least I haven’t experienced the condition again.

Is yours constant and repetitive? Or do you only hear it once and it goes away for the rest of the drive? (Or at least until you change directions such as forward and reverse).

I'd like to hope its something simple that I can deal with, I have the feeling that this is the type of problem that the dealer will have my truck for a week, then say "its normal"...

That could certainly be my problem. It only clunks once per occasion though

One can never have too many light bars.
I had this problem a while ago and and the dealer replaced the driveshaft for free. As long if it's easy to replicate by the mechanic I would say take it in and see if they will swap it out. It's covered by the powertrain warranty so if this is the problem you will have a while before you run into any warranty issues.

Per occasion, as in, on first stop after a change in direction?
    Yeah, that's pad slap.

Yes, the first stop after a change in direction. Should I be concerned about pad slap? I can live with the noise

Understood, but i don’t think anyone on this forum is a certified technician who could give you accurate advice. Therefore i would myself would turn my vehicle into the dealership if a problem arose.

I know exactly what it is. It’s the front body mount bushings. This happened to my 2020 TRD Pro and only had about 1k on it. I replaced it with energy suspension bushings. The stock ones really suck. I took it to the dealer twice and they couldn’t figure it out. They’re hopeless. There’s an in depth thread on here about it. After I replaced them, no sound whatsoever. Hope this helps. GL.

That sucks we're in the middle of a tropical storm, so I'll go through all the suggestions mentioned here, I guess the bushings aren't too bad....
