I just looked at a silver 2007 Access Cab, 4x4, V6, Auto, TRD Off-Road, with tow pkg, and Leer shell. The truck has 64k miles on it and the 60k service was done on schedule (including front and rear diff fluid change). It's mostly been used for camping vacations, so freeway miles, and not a work truck. The oil has been changed every 5k miles. The body is clean, with just a few nicks and a scuff mark on the front right bumper.

The seller (private party) is pretty firm at $22k and is not in a hurry to sell. Does this seem like a decent price? KBB suggests $19,050 in very good condition. For comparison CarMax has a comparable vehicle, but without a shell, listed at $23k.

My take is that it's not a screaming good deal, but possibly acceptable - that's what I'm trying to determine anyway. It's exactly the truck I'm looking for, except for the color, but I'm okay with silver.

Thanks in advance for your input.

IMO $22 Is a bit high. Somewhere in the 1's is all I would pay for it. GL!

Sellers always say 'in no hurry to sell'.

You could always respond by saying, 'I am in no hurry to buy', but, if you show up with 20k in cash, I would be surprised if they wouldn't accept.

Thanks folks. Good call TFades - I offered $20k and they accepted. That's originally the number I came up with, so pretty happy with it.

Not much. Toyota bed mat, Toyota step bars, tinted windows, Toyota seat covers, Toyota all-weather mats, quart of Wild Turkey in the glove box, KelTec PT3AT in the center console, backseat full of old speeding tickets
I cannot believe how these things hold their value! I bought my 2007 2WD 4.0 Prerunner Double Cab, brand new, for $23,000 +TTT
